Indian Intelligence Test is an initiative of iNext, a unit of Jagran Prakashan Ltd. and Sigrid Education Services, a company incubated at MCIIE, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. The test is divided into two parts: Multiple Intelligence Test and Aptitude Test.
This test will identify the intelligence type of each child so that best suited learning method is used, nurturing of critical skills is carried out and eventually the best career path is selected. It will also identify the scholastic abilities of participants of this test and reward the meritorious students.
IIT will be simultaneously conducted in 34 cities across 7 states- UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, on 5th February 2014. Irrespective of their education board, Students from 6th to 12th standard could participate in the test. To be conducted in 600 schools, more than one lakh students are likely to sit in the test.
